Fostering Civic Outreach
CompTIA has chosen the National Cristina Foundation (NCF)
as its official civic outreach partner. NCF provides computer
technology and solutions to people with disabilities, students
at risk and economically disadvantaged persons. NCF encourages
corporations and individuals to donate surplus and used computers,
software, peripherals and related business technology. These
donations are then directed to training and educational organizations
that serve these at-risk groups. All of this takes place for
no charge to the donors and recipients. CompTIA's dedication
to IT workforce development made a partnership with NCF a
perfect match. CompTIA is proud to have been working with
NCF since 2002. Find out
more about NCF.
Strengthening the IT Workforce
The CompTIA Educational Foundation provides hundreds of individuals

and the government through contributions and grants. It funds
four programs: Creating Futures, NITAS, Tech Career Compass,
and the IT Merit Awards. The Foundation makes a direct impact
on people’s lives, and the IT industry as a whole, allowing
entry-level IT workers the ability to continually upgrade
their skills, and progress along a successful career path.
