Education to Careers
The CompTIA Education to Careers (E2C) program provides resources and a supportive community for educators teaching information technology. The program aims to help technology educators to train, certify and upgrade the skills of their students.
CompTIA certifications are widely recognized as the leading vendor-neutral IT certifications worldwide. CompTIA certifications are recommended or required as a prerequisite for many vendor-specific certifications, such as Microsoft MCSE and Cisco CCNA.
Membership is available to degree-granting academic institutions, not-for-profit organizations and government education organizations. E2C members receive significantly discounted CompTIA exam vouchers, instructor tools and resources, and an online community to network with other IT instructors.
E2C schools are eligible to receive used computer equipment through the National Cristina Foundation, as well as nominate qualified students for the CompTIA IT Merit Awards program. The awards program provides $250 scholarships for IT students twice a year.
E2C also provides instructor guidance such as how to make your school a certification testing center, and templates for communication with students and parents. Our community can help you be a more effective instructor and help your students achieve more.
