Ed KorenmanVice President, Global Marketing & CommunicationsEd Korenman is vice president of global marketing and communications for CompTIA. In this role, Mr. Korenman manages the association’s global brand and marketing strategy, and he oversees all of CompTIA’s communications with the media to ensure that the association and IT industry are well represented. Responsibilities include the development of marketing and public relations campaigns to promote CompTIA’s events, products and services, member programs, and ongoing work on behalf of the IT industry. Mr. Korenman also manages the writing and distribution of CompTIA’s internal and external publications as well as the production of industry related multimedia content. Before joining CompTIA in 2008, Mr. Korenman was the director of marketing for MegaPath, Inc., a leading provider of managed IP communications services. He was responsible for executing lead-generation programs and events for enterprise and small-to-medium sized business customers. He also developed advertising campaigns, managed product launches and promotions, and created content for customer-facing communications such as newsletters, brochures, and Web sites. Mr. Korenman has held executive and senior communications and marketing positions with Coremetrics, a leading provider of digital marketing optimization solutions; IT Convergence, a global enterprise application services provider; Siebel Systems, Inc., a provider of business applications software; and the Consumer Electronics Association, the preeminent trade association promoting growth in the consumer electronics industry. Mr. Korenman graduated from Emory University in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. |
