Healthcare IT Advisory Council

CompTIA has created the Healthcare IT Advisory Council to better facilitate its understanding of the Healthcare IT marketplace. Council members will discuss issues and opportunities related to the field, which could lead to CompTIA programs, credentials or educational opportunities.

There are tremendous opportunities in Healthcare IT. Electronic records, prescriptions and other IT tools can not only create more business in the IT sector, but can reduce doctor and pharmacist errors, create a more comprehensive and clear recording system, and reduce health care costs.

Members of the CompTIA Healthcare IT Advisory Council need not be CompTIA members. For more information on the council, contact communities@comptia.org.
