Kim Santaniello Vice President, Education and Training |
Kim Santaniello is the vice president of education and training for the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), the leading trade association for the world’s information technology (IT) industry. She is responsible for several key initiatives, including CompTIA University, a center for learning activities and resources to support the IT solution providers community’s educational needs around business sustainability and growth. She also leads programs and services targeted at the IT certification training channel, including the CompTIA Learning Alliance, CompTIA Authorized Quality Curriculum initiative, and CompTIA Press, the association’s branded certification courseware.
Prior to joining CompTIA, Ms. Santaniello was the director of education for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) where she provided oversight for the Continuing Medical Education Program and related accreditation compliance, including development of programming across the specialty core curriculum for the 6,000 attendee annual meeting. During her tenure at ASPS, she also held positions as the assistant director of education and scientific program manager.
Ms. Santaniello’s professional career also includes positions at the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation, Associated Management Services, and the UAL Foundation, United Airlines, Inc.
She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Rosary College in River Forest, Ill., now a liberal arts college within Dominican University.
