Information technology has a significant presence in all areas of business today, and its prevalence is reflected in the span of CompTIA’s membership. CompTIA members include manufacturers, distributors, resellers, solution providers, e-commerce and telecom companies. As a result of active CompTIA involvement in IT education, training and public policy, many academic, not-for-profit and government agencies have also joined the association.
In order to efficiently serve the industry and its members, CompTIA has developed specialized initiatives and programs dedicated to major areas within the IT industry.
