The Cisco Network Academy and the Microsoft IT Academy

CompTIA vendor neutral certifications are used as electives in several educational certification programs, including the Microsoft IT Academy and the Cisco Networking Academy programs.

In order to assist students enrolled in these programs with obtaining CompTIA certification vouchers, CompTIA developed a portal that provides a coupon entitling the bearer to a special price available for Academy members. This portal can only be reached by first logging into either the Cisco Academy or the Microsoft IT Academy Web sites. See below for details on how to access both of these sites.

Cisco Network Academy Students
Students enrolled in a Cisco Networking Academy training course are able to obtain a coupon that entitles them to a discounted price on a related CompTIA certification upon successful completion of their course.

Cisco Academy students must be logged into the Cisco Academy Connection Web site. A link to the CompTIA coupon request Web site will appear in the Career Development section of the page. Follow that link and enter the requested information to obtain the coupon.

Microsoft IT Academy Students
Students enrolled in a Microsoft IT Academy training course are able to obtain a coupon that entitles them to a discounted price on a CompTIA A+ certification upon successful completion of their course.

Microsoft IT Academy students must be logged into the Student Online Campus Web site. Click on the Certification Center link located on the left site of the page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the link for CompTIA certification. Follow that link and enter the requested information to obtain the coupon.
