The CompTIA
Services and Support Executive Forum
The CompTIA Services and Support Executive Forum provides
a formal structure and method for IT service executives to meet,
communicate, resolve issues and establish standards for the
IT services and support industry. Our forum promotes open discussions
between large and small manufacturers, solution providers, distributors,
integrators and retailers of technology services and products.
Who Should Participate?
Service executives from CompTIA's business membership who
are interested in providing their vision and in shaping the
IT services and support industry are invited to attend our meetings.
Forum Structure and Initiatives
The Executive Forum meetings are working forums to develop
initiatives and delegate task forces to act upon the initiatives.
These meetings are governed by a charter that provides the
basis to accomplish the industry objectives and is signed
by all participants. Quarterly meetings are held in the US,
Canada, Europe and South Africa.
Current initiatives include:
- Service performance benchmarking
- Establishing IT industry standards
- Establishing best practices (Trustmarks)
- Solving industry issues
- Developing service technical talent
